Aquarian Alchemy is not the name of a commercial product.  It’s the identity under which I produce my own colloidal silver. It bears a name, because I like to name things when they are born, and  because when I speak of colloidal silver, I am referring to the one I produce, which is the one I can speak for. 

I can only say that it’s made with the best of my intellectual abilities, and with the best knowledge I could extract out of medical, chemistry and nanotechnology journals during countless hours of research. There were many long nights that often ended when the first rays of sunlight started peering through the window of my office.

I have also done a lot of research in what I believe to be the best colloidal gold and silver forum on the web. I feel deep gratitude and kinship for Kephra, its founder, whose knowledge on this subject is unfathomable, profound, and completely practical. He lives what he preaches.

I started producing Aquarian Alchemy Colloidal Silver after consuming ionic silver for years, believing it to be colloidal silver.

I started producing colloidal silver in 2018, after a friend’s cat almost died. We saved her using ionic silver exclusively (believing it was colloidal silver). As a result of that event, I remembered that I had sworn to produce it myself after saving one of my own cats from Feline Distemper (Parvovirus) in 2016, when all the vets at the animal hospital said he was as good as dead.

When I began my general research on the healing properties of silver, I realized that my history with this mineral had started much earlier.

I remember very clearly that in my household, when I was a little girl, they made us intensely rub the edge of a silver ring or coin on our clothes until it became hot. Then, we would put the ring or coin on our styes. They couldn’t be made of gold or any other metal, it had to be silver. I didn’t understand at the time why it worked, and how it cleared the infection; today I do.

The second contact I had with silver as a remedy was through an unfortunate accident that my brother had when he was in high school. He suffered second degree burns from spilling boiling water on both of his legs. After treating him, they put yellow “antibiotic” bandages on him, which were highly coveted in Castro’s Cuba due to the shortage of medicines.

The bandages turned out to be Silver Sulfadiazine. These bandages are still used today in burn units and centers in 80% of hospitals in the United States. In fact, it was an American doctor who invented them as a remedy. Don’t believe me, ask any doctor. Oh! And you can buy it in cream/lotion form at almost any pharmacy in the United States.

At the age of 24, I moved to Switzerland. After a few months, when I returned to visit Cuba, I arrived with my first shipment of Micropur, a product made by a Swiss company called Katadyn. These ionic silver tablets are used throughout the world to disinfect water, and they can also be purchased in the United States.

In the years that I lived in Mexico I used Microdyn to disinfect fruits and vegetables. It’s made, just like Great Value’s disinfectant (yes, the Walmart brand), of highly concentrated colloidal silver.

As I already mentioned in the introduction, I do not produce colloidal silver for commercial purposes (we make a living from our therapeutic work), but if someone in our community needs it, I will gladly make it for them. 

There were two fundamental reasons that prompted me to start producing my own Colloidal Silver. The first was that I realized that 98% of what is on the market under the name of colloidal silver is not colloidal silver but ionic silver. The second was the increasingly exorbitant prices for these products.

I am writing this in October 2020, and I can say that we have gotten through all of this past year’s madness (our friends, and those closest to us) without getting sick. Those who had symptoms amongst our acquaintances and had access to colloidal silver, came out on the other side gracefully, and we have all led a normal life, without fear, which is what depresses and weakens the immune system the most.

The best remedy that continuously prevails, is good prophylaxis.

Colloidal Silver is a well known traditional remedy that has been used throughout the planet for over 100 years. There are millions of testimonies and success stories regarding its use as a Medicine until 1999, and as a Supplement after that date.

Chemically speaking, it is a suspension of silver nanoparticles grouped by electrical charge in an aqueous base. It is a liquid that ranges from a light golden color to almost black.

It was part of the bedside remedies of lifelong doctors and apothecaries due to its great efficacy as a broad spectrum germicide, due to its ability to eliminate infections caused by many bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeasts and parasites.

It was one of the quintessential antibiotics most used by modern physicians until the arrival of chemical antibiotics, where along with many other remedies proven to be useful for curing, it was suppressed from the medical literature taught in medical schools to this day.

Colloidal Silver has germicidal and disinfectant properties.

As a Supplement it is permitted to say that it Maintains, Strengthens and Boosts the Immune System. A strong immune system is a key prerequisite to good health.

As an Antiseptic and Disinfectant it is the most versatile of all. There are thousands of scientific and empirical accounts of its use as an Antiviral, Antibacterial and Antifungal.

You can find some in the book «The use of Colloids in Health and Disease». It was published in 1920 and is full of scientific citations of the successful results already obtained at that time (there are citations from the 1800s and very early 1900s) by doctors and researchers. The book is also a master class on suns, colloids, their charges, their movement, and the behavior of different metals in suspension, not just silver. 

At the time, it was already known that the silver colloid was not organotropic, meaning that it does not have selective action towards any organ and that it does not necrotize human tissue. It was also known that rabbits could withstand 10 times the lethal dose of diphtheria exotoxin and tetanus neurotoxin if they were given colloidal silver (poor bunnies!). In the book – pages 82 through 86- you will find citations from studies published in medical journals stating cases of real patients cured with colloidal silver. 

They even already knew how to inject colloidal silver and which compounds in silver produced argyria. All of this… in 1920.

Cases range from common colds to throat, nose and ear infections, pneumonia caused by adenovirus, kidney infections, prostatitis, influenza, kidney infections, enlarged prostate, skin infections… etc (a very long etc.).

There are mentions in contemporary literature of the action of this remedy in cases of malaria, Ebola and MRSA, the infamous flesh-eating streptococcus which is resistant to the most potent chemical antibiotics.

This is all known, it’s just a matter of sitting down and researching, investigating.

Although I have a scientific background (the first career I studied was biology), and I really like research, the most powerful evidence always lies with people, ordinary people, and their stories of how they overcame many ailments with the help of this remedy. 

Their testimonials, millions of them, constitute the empirical evidence that should, at least, produce more and more research.

To give just one example of these testimonials about colloidal silver, the extent of its use and the empirical tests, I leave a link here to the WebMD website, which is where you find information about doctors and their medicines. 

It was here where WebMD published a very “unfortunate” article, in an attempt to persuade the public not to take the remedy. 

Instead of persuading the general public, they fired a spark of public outrage, where they became the target of very harsh criticism.

That sole article generated, up until October of 2020, 187 pages containing 322 testimonials of the use and success of Colloidal Silver to cure a wide variety of ailments such as chronic sinusitis, dandruff, colds, flu, influenza, infections of the throat, nose, ears, pneumonia, dental ulcers and abscesses, warts, hay fever, conjunctivitis, infected wounds, bites of insects, gastroenteritis, stomach ulcers, infected fingernails, various skin lesions, boils, acne, staphylococci, etc.

The remarkable thing is that in all the years that people have consumed silver as a preventive remedy, not only have they stopped getting sick but also none of them have developed Argyria.

• Is it safe to consume Colloidal Silver?

The quick answer is this: According to the experience of thousands of people, yes.  According to the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) the answer is that it’s neither effective nor safe. You can download the FDA’s 1999 final ruling by clicking Here.

• What is the established dose of Colloidal Silver?

There is no set dose for colloidal silver, however, based on the EPA’s (CASRN 7440-22-4) daily Oral Silver Reference Dose (RfD) applied to 20 ppm, an adult may ingest 89,425 servings safely over the course of 70 years.

• Does taking Colloidal Silver make me blue? That is, does it cause me to develop Argyria?

According to the official mainstream, yes, although they do not seem to be able to distinguish between silver proteins, silver salts, and any other silver compound from colloidal silver. It was already known in the 1920s that properly produced colloidal silver does not cause Argyria. That information can be found in the book that I cited in the “Benefits” section of this site. In addition, it can also be found, in many, many studies found on the internet. And if you are looking for even more evidence, it would be a good idea to contemplate the thousands of people who, after 20 years of consuming it, still do not look like smurfs.

• Is it toxic for human consumption?

According to the same EPA report cited above, no.

• Is silver a supplement?

If we are strict in how we use language, no. It is called a supplement because the FDA decided so, but in reality, that’s nonsense, just as it is nonsense that WebMD puts it in the “vitamin” section. Silver is not food, and therefore you do not «supplement» the diet with it. It is not an essential mineral. It is not a trace element. It is, strictly speaking, a remedy to «remedy» ailments. It was stripped of its title as a medicine sold in pharmacies in 1999, at least in the United States.

• Is it true that colloidal silver is proven to kill more than 650 pathogens?

I wish those studies existed! While there is a likelihood that colloidal silver can be effective against 650 pathogens out of the 1407 that make us sick (according to this 2005 CDC report), there is no scientific literature (yet) to support that claim. Claims like these are sales strategies concocted by a few people that managed to turn this misinformation into a myth. Unfortunately, this myth has reached and left the lips of many people who repeat what they hear without verifying the information…
